Just a quick post...this is a card I made a couple weeks ago, using one of the Pure Innocence images. I just love these! The paper is from October Afternoon and flowers are prima. Thanks for stopping by.
This is one of my favorite Magnolia images. The moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it! I just love how sweet it is and this little frog is the cutest! The paper I used for this card is some I've had for probably 5 years...Isn't that terrible???? I really need to start using some of my supplies before I buy more :) Scallop frame is nestabilities, flowers are prima, sentiment is by Studio G, I believe. Thanks for stopping by!
Another Magnolia card for you guys. As always, the image is colored with copics. I didn't have a large scallop punch so I just punched a few circles and cut them in half! Paper is from a Hobby Lobby Scrapbook Kit and ribbon is Paper Studio, I believe. Thanks for visiting.
Here's one for the boys. This image is from Lili of the Valley. It's the first time I've ever used one of these images and I have to say, I LOVE it!!! I'm totally going to be ordering some of these stamps!!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
Long time, no post. Sorry about that, things have been crazy as usual, but I was able to make this sweet little card using one of the Magnolia images. I have to admit, I have no idea what this one is called, I received it in a swap and I think it's adorable, but I'm just not sure about the name. The paper I used is from a scrapbook kit that I got at Hobby Lobby. I just love this paper! Soooo cute! And the sentiment is from The Greeting Farm I believe.
Just wanted to post and say thanks to everyone for visiting my blog! Take care and God Bless!
I have a couple of "boy" cards to show you today. I created these using two of my favorite images from The Greeting Farm. The first one is the "Dad" from the New Parents Set, but by himself, he looks like a little boy--part of the reason I love this set is that it's so versitile. So, with 2011, one of my goals is to create more elaborate cards with stitching and lots of layers. Sometimes I get lazy and just slap them together, but this year, I want to take my time and really create the best cards I can. That mean quality rather than quantity :) So here's my first stab at it:
The paper on this card is Recollections from Michaels. They really have some adorable papers out and I just happened to find these one day while I was browsing. I thought they'd be perfect for a "boy card"
The stamp in this card is from one of the OA sets. I don't actually own this set, but I got this image in an image swap and I just think he's the cutest thing ever! I love the little dinos! I wish I could tell you more about this card, but the paper was just a scrap I had laying around and everything else is just plain cardstock. The ribbon is from Wal-mart...50 cents a yard I think so that's not too bad :)
Ok, that's enough babbling for now. Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!
My name is Larisa Hohman and I've been scrapbooking for about 8 years now. I'm a total addict and I can't imagine what life would be like without it. I've recently started stamping too and I have to say, I'm 100% addicted. If anyone knows of a support group I can join, please let me know! :) I live happily in Texas with my husband of 4 years and our dogs, Ace and Lucy. I teach highschool in my spare time and stamp/scrapbook during the rest of my time. Hope you enjoy my blog!
