This is really Witch Tilda with Pumpkins from Magnolia, but the minute I saw her, I thought she looked like a pilgrim. I've colored her with copics, and popped out her arms, shoes, and one of the pumpkins...although I don't think you can tell in the picture. The good news is, I recently got a new camera for my birthday and it takes much better pictures so from here on out, the detail in my posts should be more visible. But I digress...After coloring her with Copics, I added some glitter to the stems of the pumpkin and to the buckle with my spica pen. Then, I mounted her on some Thanksgiving paper and added a cute little sentiment that I printed off the computer. I don't usually buy sentiment stamps because I'd rather spend the money on image stamps so I just usually print them. The flowers and brad are by the paper studio from Hobby Lobby and I'm not sure where I got the ribbon. :)Saturday, October 24, 2009

Retail Therapy

I made this sassy card using savvyshopabella from Stampingbella. The paper is by Making Memories, flowers are from prima, and sentiment is by Stampingbella. The decorative tag was cut using the Home Accents cartridge for Cricut. Swirl is a Sizzix Punch. Ok, I think that's all the necessary info. I really had fun creating this card...I'm super girly so I love to make stuff like this. I colored the image with copics, as always and also used the nestabilities die for the scalloped background.

Witch Shoes

This is a cute little set I made for my husband to take to work for a secret gift exchange. Of course he didn't tell me he needed something until the night before and I didn't feel like running to the store...we live in the country. So I grabbed an empty prima flowers bottle and filled it with candy corn and decorated it. Then I found a plain orange gift bag in the closet and created a matching panel for the outside of it. And of course I had to make a cute little card that coordinated. I think it turned out pretty cute. You can't really see in the picture, but I put glitter on the shoes...oh, and the stamp is called Witch Shoes by Stampendous, paper is by Recollections (sold at Michaels)

I made this card about a week ago and have been dying to show you guys. I just LOVE this stamp! It's Tilda with Spider by Magnolia and I love everthing about it! She's so much fun to color! I used copics to color her in and popped her shoes with foam tape. The paper is from my Mind's Eye and Penny Lane. I don't think it's meant for Halloween, but I just thought it looked kind of Halloween-y! I added a few prima flowers, a fabric brad and a sentiment I printed off the computer. Pretty simple card, but there's just something about it love. Hope you do too!

Camera out of commission
No new crafty posts today b/c my camera is not working correctly...probably b/c I dropped it :( I can take pictures, I just can't get them to load onto my computer. So guess I'll be doing things the old fashioned way...loading pictures onto SD card and having CD made at Walmart...until I get a new camera. So bare with me. I've created some really cute cards, I just need to get them on a CD. Also, when I am able to load photos here, I'll have some blog candy to give away! So check back. I'm hoping to have this all sorted out by Wednesday. :)

Under the Weather
I made this sweet little card using an image of Magnolia Tilda in Spring Rain that I got in a swap. I just think she's soooo cute! As I was making this card, I was worried it was going to be so ugly because the colors are kind of random, but after I put it all together it just seemed to work. I've popped the pocket with some foam tape, added a prima flower and a cute little sentiment. Image was colored with copic markers and I've added some stickles glitter to the water. Hope you like it!Sunday, October 4, 2009
OOps!

Yeah!!! My new Magnolia stamps have arrived and I'm so excited! They are just the cutest and my favorite is Oops Tilda. In this card, I used patterned paper from Hobby Lobby (paper studio) to create a baking theme. Then I colored my image with copics, and layered it on top of another images using foam tape. This just adds a little dimension. I then added a little prima flower and brads. Hope you like her!
